Jumping technique and when to sheet the bar in…

There is a good post on the kiteboarder.co.uk technique forum where someone asked about when you should sheet the bar in when loading up for a jump. I thought this was a good and interesting question as you see so many people out kiting who have terrible jumping technique – they might get out of the water but they are not getting anywhere near as much height as they could if they just adapted their technique a little.

Anyway, I created this short video, just a couple of clips, where Karine shows perfectly how the bar should be sheeting in during a jump:
