I first met Rob (the big cheese) when he came back from South Africa, after filming for the first Intermediate progression DVD, back when I was working on Kiteworld Magazine’s launch with Hugh Miler (2002??). I’ve dipped my toes in and out of the company over the last few years and now have a firm seat (well whicker chair) in the office two days a week looking after the Sales & Marketing for Progression.

With a background in watersports, I first got hooked on kitesurfing back in ’99 and have been involved, in some part, in the industry ever since. From instructing, being the shop guy, to helping run Kiteworld, I’ve gained a lot of experience from around the industry in the last 10 years that I hope to pull into Progression and make us even more successful…

When I started kiting, I was most excited about the prospect of surfing with the kite…then, twintip mania arrived and honestly, I got a little bored. So, for the last few years I’ve really been getting back into my surfing and am getting back out there on my shiny new 4°west surfboard (and KITES)!
